So far this year, the Gwinnett County Real Estate Market is looking great. As a matter of fact, one might say, it's on fire. The Chart below tells the story.

Home prices for Gwinnett County have increased almost every month since January 2012. With respect to sale prices in 2013 compared to 2012 as a percentage, prices are up 24.27% averaged thru May of 2013. Although no one knows if this type of percentage increase is sustainable, certainly it would appear the Gwinnett County Real Estate market has turned the corner.

One interesting note: The number of overall transactions has fallen as compared on a monthly basis with 2012.

With prices up and numbers of transactions down, one might assume other factors such as inventory levels with respect to both resale and new construction homes have influenced pricing.
